He’s a thousand year old man who has the heart of a child, the tongue of a southerner, and the shins of a cajun. Bones loves showing people the dark and dirty side of Asheville. Don’t get too close, or he might use your body parts for his next voodoo stew.
She’s a hillbilly vampire who’s been roaming the streets of Asheville for hundreds of years. Bloodeenya has been living off of the blood of local beer drinkers for so long she’s got an eternal buzz. If you invite her along, she’ll gladly show you around her neck of the woods!
Late one evening, we found an old map with mysterious markings behind the toilet at the LaZoom Room. It was left by a curious man with a curious name: Fartemis Smellington. In the late 1800s, Mr. Smellington was a local necromancer and eccentric that some say “always omitted a foul odor”.
During his short life, he would wander the streets of downtown claiming he could see ghosts and would try to get people to join him as he would spin yarns about the towns murders. Then one day in October of 1889, he disappeared without a trace.
The map we discovered showed a peculiar path that crisscrossed through streets of downtown Asheville. Along the route were stories of murder, hangings, suicides, and evil wickedness. Above the map it read:
“Whoever walks this path and speaks these tales will see into the past.”
His dream of wandering the streets with willing participants in search of ghosts, murderers, and other worldly beings lives on at LaZoom
