Are You Open?
No, we are currently closed due to concerns of COVID-19. Please click here to learn more.

How do I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets for our tours 3 ways: online, over the telephone, or at the LaZoom Room at 76 Biltmore Ave. Buying tickets in advance is the only way to guarantee seating. Reservations are strongly suggested, as most tours do sell out. Tickets can be purchased at the time of boarding if seating is available.

How long are the tours?
The City Comedy Tour is 90 minutes long, with a bathroom break halfway through.
The Haunted Comedy Tour is 60 minutes long with no stops.
The Band and Beer Tour is 3 hours with several stops at breweries along the way! About half of the time is spent at breweries, the other half on the bus.

Do I have to print out or pick up my tickets?
You do not. We always recommend reading over your email confirmation so you know where and when your tour departs, as well all the other important can and cannot’s of the LaZoom bus, however we use a roster at the bus so all we need is your name and you can jump right on.

Where do the tours depart from?
All tours depart from the LaZoom Room at 76 Biltmore Ave., Asheville, NC 28801. Come and wet your whistle before your tour at the LaZoom Room bar or relax on one of our comfy gold velveteen couches after you return your tour!

Where do we park?
LaZoom does not have designated parking. Although we don’t own the parking lot for LaZoom Room, you can pay $2 per hour to park there. The Biltmore Avenue parking garage, located in the bottom of the Aloft Hotel, is located about a quarter of a block away from LaZoom Room at 51 Biltmore Avenue.

Is the tour appropriate for all ages?
Our City Tour has a bit of PG-13 humor, so we have limited it to ages 13 and up. Our Haunted Tour is appropriate for individuals 17 years and up. Only individuals 21+ are allowed on our Band & Beer Bus Tour. The Kids’ Comedy Tour is appropriate for all ages

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation policy: Parties of 5 and more must cancel at least 4 days prior to the scheduled bus tour to receive a full refund. Parties of 4 and fewer must cancel at least 24 hours prior to scheduled tour to receive a full refund.  No refunds on reservations canceled within 24 hour of tour time. Deposits paid on private rentals are non-refundable. Call (828) 225-6932.

In the rare event that we have fewer than 10 passengers registered for a tour, we may have to cancel it. We do our best to make this decision at least 2 hours before departure time. All passengers will be notified of any cancellations via text, email, and telephone. For this reason, please make sure that you provide us with a good telephone number to reach you on the day of your tour.

How far in advance do we need to book?
It really depends on the month, day of the week, and time you’re wanting to ride.  If you have a larger party, booking a few weeks ahead is a great idea, if possible. However, sometimes tours roll with seats available, so last minute bookings often work too, specifically on weekdays.

Is the bus wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately not. The doors are not wide enough on this bus to accommodate a wheelchair. However, we will do our best to accommodate disabled passengers and can store wheelchairs if necessary.

There are a few steps that are required to get on or off the bus, but there is a handrail.

Can we bring alcoholic beverages on the bus?
Yes. You can bring beer and wine purchased from The LaZoom Room on the bus. Passengers will be asked to provide ID proving that they are 21 years of age.

Large coolers are not permitted on board; any coolers must be able to fit in your seat with you.

Is it appropriate to give gratuity?
Yes, gratuities are greatly appreciated by our bus drivers and performers. Believe us, you’ll want to after you see their show!

Do you offer group discounts for large parties?
Yes, we do offer discounts for groups of 10 or more individuals. It brings the rate from $29 to $27 per person for the City Tour and $26 to $24 per person for the Haunted Tour. You must call to receive the discount. Our office number is 828-225-6932

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO GROUPS:  We ask that groups inform all their members to respect our rules about talking during the tours. If you have a group of more than 20, we recommend speaking with us about one of our private tour options. We no longer allow Bachelor and Bachelorette parties on our City and Haunted tours, however the Band and Beer Tour is a great, fun option for them!

How should I dress?
Dress for success with the weather; LaZoom is an open-air tour bus when the weather is 60 degrees or above. Windows will be closed if it is cold or rainy. Dress in whatever manner you wish on the bus, and during your entire vacation in Asheville!

Is the bus air conditioned or heated?
The bus is typically open-air. That means no A/C in the summer, but there is a nice breeze once the tour starts moving. In inclement or cold weather, the bus does have windows we will close. The bus is heated during colder months, but we always recommend dressing for the weather.

Can I get on and off the bus throughout the tour?
The City Comedy, Haunted Comedy, and Kids Comedy tours are not ‘hop on/hop off’. However, we do offer a 10 minute break midway through the City Comedy tour.

How is seating arranged?
Our seating is on a first come, first served basis. When you arrive at the LaZoom Room for check in, we will hand you a boarding pass with a number that will determine your turn to enter the bus. Never fear: every seat has a nice view!

Can I bring my dog on the bus?
Small dogs (lap dogs) under 20 pounds are welcome on the bus. Dogs over 20 lbs are allowed on the tour with prior permission from LaZoom, and the dog must have a ticket purchased, and will be required to sit in a seat with their owner, not blocking the isles. All dogs are required to have a good sense of humor, and must laugh at all dog jokes.

Why are Bachelorette and Bachelor Parties not allowed on comedy tours?
From experience, we’ve found that our comedy tours and these groups are often not a good match. However, these groups LOVE the Band and Beer tour! The difference between the two experiences is that during our comedy tours, the crowd has to be quiet so the audience can hear the tour guide, during the Band and Beer tours, the crowd in encouraged to be boisterous, and a part of the experience!

Do the tours run in inclement weather?
Our tours run rain or shine! However, we will cancel the tour if we deem it unsafe to be out on the roads. If we do cancel, we will let you know at least 1 hour prior to the start time. When booking your reservation, please provide us with a number that you could be reached prior to the start of your tour

Can I bring my baby on the bus?
Unfortunately, we cannot allow babies on the City, Haunted, or Band and Beer. However, we allow children of all ages on the Kid’s Comedy Tour!
