Frequently Asked Questions
How do I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets for our sightseeing tours 3 ways. Online, over the telephone, or upon boarding. Buying tickets in advance online or reserving over the telephone with a credit card is the only way to reserve seating. Online tickets and telephone reservations are taken until 45 minutes before departure. Reservations are strongly suggested, most tours sell out. Tickets can be purchased at boarding if seating is avaiable.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation policy: Parties of 4 and fewer must cancel more than 4 days prior to the scheduled bus tour to receive a full refund. Parties of 5 and above must cancel more than 2 weeks prior to scheduled group tour to receive a full refund. If cancellation with less notice is necessary, a refund will be issued if LaZOOM is able to sell those seats to another party. Call (828) 225-6932.
What if I book my ticket as a local and cannot furnish proof of residency at boarding?
Pay full price and know that you have just subjected yourself to ridicule through out the duration of your sightseeing tour.
Is the bus wheel chair accessible?
Unfortunately not. The doors are not wide enough on this bus to accommodate a wheelchair. However we will do our best to accommodate disabled passengers and can store wheelchairs if necessary.
Is the bus air conditioned or heated?
The bus is typically open-air. That means no A/C in the summer, but there is a nice breeze once the tour starts moving! In inclement or cold weather, the bus does have windows we will close. The bus is heated during colder months, but we always recommend dressing for the weather!
Can I get on and off of the bus throughout the tour?
Our City Comedy bus tours stop for a 10 minute break in the middle. Tours break at the Firestorm Cafe and The Thirsty Monk in downtown Asheville so passengers can see first hand there are some great things to do in Asheville. The Haunted Comedy tour is an hour long tour without a stop. We highly recommend using the restroom before you leave!!
Can we bring alcoholic beverages on the bus?
